Can I use Crate Wholesale without Square, Shopify or Clover?
Yes. Crate Wholesale works on its own. Manage your catalog, customer logins, custom prices and wholesale orders directly in Crate. Square, Shopify and Clover integrations are optional connections to tools you already use.
Does Crate support Square, Shopify and Clover for wholesale?
Yes. Crate integrates with Square, Shopify and Clover. Your wholesale customers get a login to your branded customer portal, see their custom prices and place wholesale orders using products from your existing catalog. Set wholesale prices in Crate without changing retail prices. Order, invoice and payment workflows follow the POS and invoicing setup you choose.
What does Crate Wholesale cost?
Wholesale Starter starts at $50/month USD. Starter and Growth support unlimited buyers, with 150 and 400 included monthly orders respectively. Growth is $80/month USD. See Pricing for the current plans. Payment processing, postage and applicable taxes are separate.
Can I try Crate before paying?
14-day free trial. No credit card required. Cafe ordering plans are separate and start with a paid subscription.
Can each customer have different wholesale prices?
Yes. Use wholesale price lists and customer-specific pricing so each customer sees the prices agreed for their account. Customers can sign in, reorder and see their order history.
Does Crate connect to QuickBooks or accept emailed orders?
Crate connects to QuickBooks Online for invoicing and invoice/payment-status updates. Email-to-order is available for enabled workspaces: Crate extracts order details into the order inbox for review. Ask us about access; email parsing is not included in the standard Starter or Growth plans.
Can a wholesale customer request a quote?
Crate currently focuses on ordering from an agreed catalog at customer-specific prices. Order approval is supported, but it is not a customer-led request-quote, revise and accept workflow. If quotations are central to your wholesale business, talk to us about your requirements before signing up.
Can my cafe have its own ordering and loyalty app?
Yes. Crate builds iOS and Android apps under your cafe's brand, with pickup, delivery, shipping and built-in loyalty rewards. Plans start at $80/month USD with no Crate per-order fee. Payment processing, postage and app-store account costs are separate. See Cafe ordering for details and POS requirements.
Can wholesale buyers order through an AI assistant?
Yes. Buyers connect their Crate account, browse products at their own prices and review a prepared order before approving it. The order appears in the merchant dashboard. Agent access is included with Crate plans; an external assistant subscription is separate. Current agent ordering is for wholesale, not cafe orders or reservations.
Can customers book a desk or meeting space online?
Yes. Crate Bookings lets customers choose a space, date and available time on the web, or in your branded app when you use that product. Configure hours, availability and booking rules, and manage reservations together. Bookings costs $50/month USD; private-event inquiries and quotes are a separate Retail workflow.
